"What are your top two goals...?"

The League of Women Voters of Hawaii  invites candidates to share their views on their LWV web-site. They ask:

What are your top two goals and how will you achieve them?

My answer did not make it to their web-site so I will give it here:

1) I thought it would be nice to govern by the Constitution, for a change.

This would mean vetoing any bills originating from the United Nations whose true origins have not been publicly clarified and debated.

It would also mean aligning all executive departments with the Constitution; instead of the current alignment to the U.N. sustainability agenda (i.e. Agenda 21.)

2) I would terminate Common Core in our schools immediately (even if it meant closing the public schools.)  This I would do, only by the authority of the people, in accordance with ARTICLE I; Section One of The Constitution of the State of Hawaii.

This would challenge educators, principals, teachers, parents and students, to come up with an alternative education immediately.

I would like to see, for our youth, a boundless education; embracing the vast wealth of the humanities--their natural birthright--and a set goal of the most-enlightened education on the planet, for them, within 20 years.

With this, I am confident that our posterity will solve the problems they will need to solve; and that Hawaii will shine as a beacon of freedom in an otherwise confused world.
